when I brought Willi Ninja to the Bill Clinton inaugural ball we were causin it. I suppose i got an invite because the documentary film makers used ‘vote baby vote’ in their promo ( without asking of course…as they do) however i wrote that voting jingle to help get grampa bush out of office , so i was thrilled to be a cog in that wheel once it started rolling. I didn’t know the evil flying monkey son was plotting his own revenge on his dad….Willi marched in the grand hall in D.C. vogueing relentlessly and those thousands of penguins in tuxedos didn’t know how to act when they saw his grace elevate the political runway. Then they saw Billy Beyond working a Bettie Davis look and the effervescent Viki galvez and moi shaking it down to the ground- what a night. Willi- always in my heart -Vogue in peace, no more worrying about Madonna spooking your videos,no more worrying about your Mother whom you looked after for years during her disbilitating sickness , no more worrying about jealous queens coming for you because of your talent, no more worrying about the fire dept. coming to get you for burning up Paris.- lady miss kier
